claim of sovereignty over the Galvan Valley region, saying that the situation
in relation to this area is historically clear. Attempts by the Chinese side to
make false claims about LAC in the Galwan Valley are not acceptable. China's
claim on Galvan is not in line with China's position in the past. Indian forces
are fully aware of the alignment of LAC in all sectors of the Indo-China border areas, including the
Galwan Valley.
The Ministry of External Affairs said about Galwan Valley
that India did not take any action beyond the Line of Actual Control. Indian
soldiers have been patrolling the area for a long time and no incident took
place. On China's claim over Galwan, the Foreign Ministry said that since early
May, the Chinese side was obstructing India's normal patrolling process in the
region.
